Healthy Lifestyles and Drug Awareness

Last Thursday, Analy High School hosted an evening of Healthy Lifestyles and Drug Awareness for an estimated 300 parents. AHS Operation 1-4-1 shared their work with middle and high school students in achieving healthy life styles on and off campus. Sergeant David Ginn of the Sebastopol Police Department provided a presentation on common drugs in West County and the effects on our youth. David's presentation is now available for you to view here. (The format is Powerpoint, you may need to download a reader).

Those eligible students should bring their $4.00 dues to Room 102 during lunch on Tuesday, January 21, Wednesday, January 22, Tuesday, January 28, and Wednesday, January 29. Digital S.A.N.T.A. (s)

Striving to bridge a digital divide on the Analy campus, a small group of students calling itself the Digital S.A.N.T.A.s (S.tudents A.ccessing N.eeded T.echnology for A.ll) is:

1. Creating a database of teachers who have computers available in their classrooms for students use before and after school.

2. Creating a system where community members can donate new or used computers to students who need them.

This student run organization is dedicated to obtaining computers and typewriters for students who do not have this luxury at home. We are looking for donations of used or new computers of all kinds: laptops, desktops, tablets or even typewriters to be donated to Analy students. Donations can be brought to Alicia Mills in the Principal's office at Analy.

Direct any questions to Club Presidents:
Zack Vangrin (zvangrin8@gmail.com) or Kaylie Boettner (kaylieboettner@yahoo.com).
